Black Pearl and Durango have 2 small toy aussies, I black tri and one blue merle, Both Toy Males. Many times when objects are shrunken down, quality and enjoyment are lost. “Fun-sized” candy bars are much less “fun” than their larger counterparts. Thankfully not all mini sized things are disappointing. Our mini and toy Aussies are shrunken down in size but are “super-sized” quality and fun! I am so excited to see each generation of dogs keep traditions of their superb bloodlines. I have been developing and selective breeding these Aussies for 15 years in hope to bring only the greatest and healthiest genes into your homes. I love all of my new dogs and am so proud to show them off to the rest of the world. I am looking forward to witness the incredible accomplishments and standards my next generation of Color Country Aussies will bring.
Ch Color Country’s Black Pearl is a beautiful little black tri–Toy Australian Shepherd female. She is a whopping’ 10.5 inches and 7.5 pounds of pure sugar! She has participated in several shows and does well in the show ring, well enough in fact, to earn a championship title. She has also been trained in obedience and some agility events as well. While she does not always like performing in front of a crowd, she aims to please and always gives her best, and we adore her for it!
She is the perfect travel sized companion. In fact, we like to call her “fun-sized”! She loves everyone and wants to keep near to those who love her. She does not understand “stranger danger” so she would be a horrible guard dog! She is the first one to greet anyone new, with a wag of a “tail” 😊 (oh wait bum) and a lick on the cheek. She is currently bred with Durango. Her puppies are always just as sweet as she is, and just as tiny!
Black Pearl has an amazing pedigree packed with champion bloodline and incredible physical and personality traits.
Sire: Champion Color Country’s Chameleon. He is a beautiful blue merle male out of Ch Color Country’s Butterfly Cowboy (black tri with stunning copper markings) and Ch Color Country’s Mia (blue merle with a sweet and friendly disposition). With a pedigree with both looks and disposition, she is the total package! If you look through the rest of my website, you will find that their offspring have been incredible family dogs with similar loving temperaments.
Dam: Lindsey’s Treasure of Color Country. She was bought from Lindsey’s Aussies in Oklahoma and is one of the cutest little black tri females. She is from Lindsey’s Just Flippin’ Fun (red merle) and Rimfire Kennel’s Breanna (a foundation breed to Rimfire Colt in Brisbin’s Miss B). As always thank you for looking at our website and I hope that you have enjoyed looking at these beautiful dog’s as much as we love raising and loving them. I hope to see you along the show road or help you find your new best friend.
Ch Color Country’s Durango is a one of my favorite toy stud dogs. He has such a fun playful personality he does not take anything to serious just one of those dogs that love to be your sidekick. He is a lower drive dog but can get amped up if you bring out the ball. He likes herding some agility not much for rally, but he will give you all his attention halfway thru the course but then his curiosity will get the best of him and he just wants to go see what everyone is doing. He loves everyone has no loyalties he takes all the loves he can get from anyone who wants to give them.
Who is Durango?
Durango is out of Lindsey’s Magic boots of Color Country. Boot’s has been a foundation dog for my toy program. She was a lap dog from day one. Not much drive just lots of love to give to anyone. Boot’s came from Lindsey’s Aussies and we absolutely love her. She has a lot to offer. Boots has lots of coat and tons of bone for a toy. Boots is 11 inches and 15lbs (she does not miss a meal) she is Mostly black and is one of the best momma’s I have. She loves her puppies and knows her puppies even when they are older. She is a great puppy trainer. Boot’s is a very obedient dog and thrived in Rally. She was not much for fetching she figured that if you threw the ball you should get it yourself 😉.
Durango’s Sire is Color Country’s Blending in AKA Camo. Now camo is one of those High drive dogs that thrived in agility and loves to fetch. He likes to do anything if you can keep his attention. Camo loved chasing the 4-wheeler and the cattle up and down the run back alley. He was a great dog to take on trail rides he would go all day long as long as you could find him some water to play in. He loved going to the lake or just playing in the creek or the kid’s pool.
