Gordo

CH Color Country's Wild Child
AKA Gordo

Gordo is our little “Wild Child”. He is quite vivacious and has quite a zeal for life. He really keeps us on our toes! CH Color Country’s Wild Child AKA Gordo is the result of a pairing of CH Color Country’s Cowboy and CH Bowman’s Jazz. This cross has resulted in a ball of pure energy. Gordo is extremely active and if he had his way, would play all day. When he runs, he is nothing but a blur of fur. He is talented in agility, herding and anything that keeps him moving. Gordo has earned his Gold  Elite Championship title, and has also titled in agility, herding, and obedience. This dog is full of fire and has demonstrated his talents in and out of the competition ring.

Gordo has been a wonderful addition to our breeding program. His bloodlines run back to my foundation sires. His parents have prestigious titles and are some of my personal favorites. His sire, Cowboy, is my greatest and most reliable stud dog. He has passed on his beautiful looks, body, and raw energy to Gordo. Jazz, Gordo’s mother, still loves playing with him and has taught Gordo to have unconditional love for all around him. Jazz is very dear to us and has reason to be quite the proud lil’ momma! It is very apparent that Gordo’s pedigree is as impressive as his love of life!

Gordo is measured at 12 ¾  inches and 20 lbs. He is a beautiful blue merle, with steel and copper coloring. He has dual bright blue eyes due to his acquired recessive traits. We have been so excited to use him as a sire and could not be happier with the puppies which have resulted. He has produced cherished dogs like Dolly, who has excelled in the show ring with my daughter Taylor by her side. Dolly has earned her Silver Elite Championship title, as well as titles in agility, herding, and obedience, much like her father! Dolly later became one of the top 4 dogs at the ASDR Nationals. Gordo’s strong and vibrant personality is seen in all his offspring and it has been exciting to see them excel as he has.
